Rules:
Help keep our beach clean, safe and healthy.
please use garbage bins
take home all recyclable products
help yourself to a cigarette pail (be mindful of health/environmental concerns)
recommended that children under 12 have an adult present
keep pets away from beach
no alcoholic beverages on the beach
no lifeguard on duty (swim at your own risk)
rough play on raft will be just cause for asking such person(s) to leave
all forms of motorizes vehicles must no exceed 15 km/h on private roads in the district
no bonfires or fireworks on the beach
beach parking limited to one vehicle per family
Guidelines for watercrafts
Boat launch area is restricted to LRA members in good standing and property owners in Range 8 Lot 9.
Boat owners must register their powered vessels with the LRA in order to obtain an access key.
Proper mooring of boats obligatory.
Watercrafts are to be moored no closer than 5 meters from the shore's waterline.
Watercraft (canoes, kayaks) tie-ups on the beach permitted at the far end of beach road, we recommend using the kayak rack.
Please remove all canoes, kayaks from beach at end of season or risk damage from snow plows.
As of Sept 15,2009 any person operating any powered vessel in Canada must have a Pleasure Craft Operator's Card.
